Inside the project / HR & air cargo
CoreOps Skytale
Less paper. A clearer picture on the ramp.
CoreOps Skytale connects HR management and air cargo handling. One system for the office, employees and operations on the ground.

The starting idea
Rosters, working hours, certificates and cargo documents all belong to the same working day. When they live in separate lists, the same information has to be entered again and again. The starting idea: connect these workflows and give employees direct access to their own data.
The starting point is a real task: finding a shift, submitting a request or checking a qualification. The software grows from there, one step at a time. New features should connect to existing data and make the next action easier.
Why build it this way?
One shared data foundation. PostgreSQL and Prisma connect employees, time entries and requests. Administration and operations can work with the same information instead of maintaining separate copies.
The right access for each role. Management works in the browser; employees use their portal or the Expo app. Roles and permissions determine which data and actions are available to each person.
Room to connect. APIs and the MCP integration make the system accessible to other tools. Automation can build on existing workflows rather than creating another separate set of data.
A detail from development
The list stays handwritten. Its next step goes digital.
Some lists in the hall still have to be completed by hand. The challenge was to connect these required documents to the digital process, as directly as possible where they are created.
CoreOps displays a dedicated email address for each process on the tablet. Staff place the completed list in the existing scanner and send it to that address. CoreOps automatically links the incoming document to the right process; within seconds, it appears live on the tablet in the connected process.
The address handles the routing. After scanning, there is no additional upload or manual search for the right process. The handwriting stays preserved in the document.
Open the process on the tablet → use its displayed email address at the scanner → scan and send the list → see the document directly in the process.
The solution
CoreOps brings clock terminals, shift planning, certificate management and requests together with ULDs and weighing lists. Employees can access their hours, documents and shifts, while administration handles the related processes in the same system.
The interface follows the task: quick actions on the move, a wider overview at a desk. Multiple languages help an international team work with the software in their everyday roles.
What to take from it
Automation needs to fit the real working day. Here, CoreOps connects an existing scanner and required paper lists directly to the digital process.
