Digital time tracking and shift planning

Punch cards out.

In Germany, working time has to be recorded, and many businesses still do it with punch cards, timesheets and a spreadsheet roster. I build time tracking and shift planning around your rules: a terminal on site, an app for employees and an admin in the browser.

How you notice

  • At the end of the month, timesheets get retyped.
  • The printed roster is out of date the moment it goes on the wall.
  • Nobody knows offhand whose training is about to expire.

How I work

Employees clock in at a terminal on site. The hours go straight into the system, with no detour via paper.

Administration plans the shifts in the browser and employees see them in the app. When somebody swaps, everyone sees it right away.

Leave requests run in the same system, and so do certificates and qualifications. While planning, you see who is allowed to do what.

For payroll there are monthly overviews and exports. The format follows what your payroll needs.

This is the foundation of CoreOps Skytale, the software for an air cargo handler. Shift patterns and roles I adapt to your business.

Frequently asked questions

Is time tracking mandatory?
Yes. The Federal Labour Court ruled in September 2022 that employers must record working time. How exactly that has to look for you is best clarified with your legal or tax adviser.
Why not an off-the-shelf time tracker?
For many businesses that is the right choice. A custom solution pays off when your shift patterns or qualifications do not fit the standard mould, or when time tracking should connect to other workflows.
Can employees clock in without a smartphone?
Yes, that is what the terminal is for. The app is optional.
